Sultana raisins are dried grapes. They are sweet and chewy. Raisins can contain up to 72% sugars by weight, most of which is fructose and glucose. Raisins are also high in certain antioxidants but have a lower vitamin C content than fresh grapes.
Recommended use: You can eat them as a snack, in smoothies, or as a natural sweetener in various dishes and desserts. It’s better to soak the raisins in warm water before using them in raw bars or bonbons because they became much softer.
