Black lentils are the third most protein-rich plant food after hemp and soy. Its name is due to the fact that after cooking its berries remain whole and shiny, like beluga caviar. Great base for warm salads.
RECOMMENDED USE: Wash the lentils under running water and soak for 2 hours. Boil in a ratio of 1: 2 (lentils : water), and more water can be added if needed. Beluga is an effective addition to salads and soups, as well as a great base for side dishes.
