Description
Camu Camu (Myrciaria dibia) is a low-growing shrub found throughout the Amazon rain forests of Peru and Brazil. It produces a cherry or large grape-sized, light orange to purplish red fruit with a yellow pulp. The berries of the Camu Camu tree have been used by Amazonian Indians for hundreds of years. Dragon Superfoods Camu Camu powder has a fresh sour taste, very suitable to combine with fresh fruit juice or added to smoothie and bowl.
Suggested use: 1-2 teaspoons (5-10 g) per serving.
